安田瓦は185年の歴史をもつ伝統的な瓦です。1200度以上の高温で焼成する「還元焼成法」を用いた吸水率が低く断熱性や耐寒性に優れた硬く丈夫な寒冷地仕様の瓦です。職人による手作業で丁寧に仕上げられた鉄色瓦と呼ばれるその独特な色とシワの表情が「月」のように見える事から「TSUKI」と名付けられたテーブルウェアは新潟県阿賀野市で製造しています。日本最北端の瓦産地であり、その優れた品質と機能性から主に雪深い日本の北部で採用され続けています。安田瓦特有の凹凸の表面はグリップ性があり、掴みやすく食材も滑りにくいため盛り付けも美しく演出できます。
Yasuda Kawara Tile is a traditional tile with 185 years of history. Made by the “reductional firing” which burns tiles at high temperature of 1200 Centigrade or higher, it is a hard and heavy-duty tile with low water absorption, superb insulation and cold resistance. The tableware is named “TSUKI” as the unique color of the tile called iron-color and the crumpled appearance look like the “tsuki”, a Japanese word for the moon, and crafted in Agano, Niigata. Agano is the northernmost production area of kawara tiles and produces tiles that has been used in the northern part of Japan with heavy snowfall for their superb quality and functionality. The irregular surface unique to Yasuda Kawara Tiles is grippy so it is easy to handle and catches foods excellently, enabling you to arrange food items beautifully.
YUKIシリーズは、雪深い地域で使われている安田瓦ならではの風景から生まれました。まるでTSUKIに雪が積もったような雰囲気はまたひと味違ったテーブルウェアとしてお楽しみ頂けます。
The YUKI series came out of the scenery only by the Yasuda tile used in the area where snow was deep.You can enjoy the atmosphere that snow was totally piled up in TSUKI as something tableware again.
KANは、金環日食をモチーフにしたデザイン。 TSUKIに太陽を思わせる縁を設けることで、耐久性に優れたシリーズです。 より華やかな食の演出をお楽しみ頂けます。
KAN is a design with the motif of an annular solar eclipse. It is a series with excellent durability by providing TSUKI with an edge reminiscent of the sun.Please enjoy more gorgeous production.
